Bird spotting

Whilst on the way over to Bussage this morning, I spotted a jay sitting on the fence alongside the road. Calm as anything, it sat there unflinching as I drove slowly past. Not known for my bird-spotting abilities, and better known for my ornithophobia, I felt quite pleased with myself for not only recognising the bird, but for taking pleasure in seeing it there!
