On our way home

We had decided to end our holiday with a couple of days in Boston - a city we've visited on two previous occasions and one in which we felt confident of what to expect. We'd already decided to have two easy days - shopping, relaxing and enjoying eating out in a couple of old favourites. Neither Legal Seafoods nor The Cheesecake Factory can be described as "fine dining", but both are places we enjoy and are "known quantities". In the case of the Cheesecake Factory, the quantities are very large indeed!

We sit now in Boston's Logan airport, awaiting our flight home which has been delayed by two hours. Still, we've been lucky so far with our travel plans going exactly according to schedule, so we can hardly complain. It's been a good trip, we've had some fun days and enjoyed exploring another corner of two vast countries. But right now, we're looking forward to being home again. Yes, however far we travel and whatever interesting and exciting places we visit, we always look forward to being back home!
