A Spring weekend
We've had a great weekend with our friend Mary Valentine. Mummy is here with us too, so we set out yesterday afternoon and enjoyed the sunshine yesterday at Snowshill Manor.
Of course, the world and his wife were there too, but it didn't stop us from enjoying the delightful gardens and some welcome fresh air. Sadly there were no tickets left for the tour of the house; we'll have to do that another day.
Today we went with Edna and Mary to Birmingham and spent a couple of hours looking around the Brindley Place / Gas Street Basin / The Mailbox area. It wasn't quite as mild as yesterday, and we found it a little chilly at times, but it was good to see the rejuvenation of the city and we enjoyed a very good lunch at Bank.
