A day out at Waddesdon Manor

Friday morning looked set fair, so we set out for the day and headed for Waddesdon Manor, somewhere we'd been meaning to go for some time.

We spent a really enjoyable day there, going inside the house first and marvelling at the immense collections the Rothschilds had built (what money!) and then enjoyed a delicious lunch in The Manor Restaurant.

We left feeling that we had only scratched the surface and that we'd be back before long, if only to enjoy the wonderful gardens, immaculately cared for and looking really good in the Spring sunshine.
