Bettine's Progress
Very good.
Mark will take her to Frenchay hospital this morning, where we hope she will be aigned off. She spent three nights there in the end, whilst the consultant satisfied himself that the risk of infection was minimal enough to allow her home. We were delighted that she was able to join us for lunch on Edward's birthday, and has managed incredibly well. Needless to say, we are proud of her!
Now, both hands are dressed, but the nurse visits only every other day to see her. Her face is healing well, as is her neck. Her hair is growing, albeit slowly, which is a little frustrating.
We keep reminding ourselves of how very much worse it might have been.
