Well that was utterly crap

Ugh...

Just come back from the 3rd year dinner. Complete waste of time. Rubbish food (Main course was Chicken cordon-bleu with beans in and was actively unpleasant), and the company was almost as bad. Claire, Jessica and I were promised that we'd be sat 'near our friends' which basically meant that the JCR mafia sat on the centre table and everyone else was arranged around them in order of social acceptability- in a wonderful storke of luck, we ended up on a table with Laura! Should have taken the samurai sword instead of the cowboy had as my sepia prop- Hari Kiri would have been a blessing compared to the meal.

We were all too polite to bitch during the meal itself of course, so it's only afterwards as we all escaped individually that we've been able to compare notes. Still though, what a rubbish night. Least I have seeing Clover to look forward tomorrow, which was basically what got me through dinner.
