Yet another learning curve

Here I am grappling with the job of migrating our old family blog, which was hosted by LiveJournal, to its new home with Blogger. Although it's all a lot slicker and more flexible, it still means that I have the prospect of endless fiddling (which I enjoy if I'm honest) to get it all looking "just right". A bigger, and less enjoyable, task is the transferring of a year's worth of posts from the old Journal to th new blog.

Tedium.

So bear with me for a few days whilst I trudge, bumbling, through the job.
