Still here...

We are still in Hull. We drove through torrential rain, arriving around 8.30am and spent the day at Mummy's bedside. When the nurse who'd called us returned to duty last night, she told us that she felt that we could go back to Cottingham for a reasonable night's sleep and promised us that she would call if the situation changed.

It's now almost 8am, Wednesday morning and having had no call during the night, we're about to return to Ward 16. Who knows what the day will bring?
