Fun Hen party

I've had a fun afternoon in Cheltenham today, organising an afternoon for a hen party entitled "Don't be a Desperate Housewife" with a WI colleague, Rosemary. Not sure if Adam actually qualified as a "hen" but hey, he seemed to enjoy the chatter as much as the girls!

Rosemary shared some of her 40 years experience of married life, we played a game offering husband management ideas and tasted a few cakes over tea. The hens left with a folder of recipes, a few small going home pressies and plenty of info about the WI (of course) all in a WI calico bag!

What a great bunch of girls - I hope we hear more from them, especially with some photos of Gaelle's big day. She's on the front row, with the red cardi tied around her waist, btw. All the photos of this great afternoon are here...
