Nice couple of evenings

Clover came down to visit on Thursday, and am about to take her back up to the station. In what surely must be a complete coincidence, I've had the best couple of nights in Cambridge since... well, Clover graduated.

Went out for a really nice meal last night, then bought ourselves a couple of cigars for a treat and wandered into the bar looking decadent. We both found it really quite nostalgic to be honest, especially as quite a few people who are still around from Clover's year happened to be in there as well. Just like old times!

All a huge contrast to Wednesday night, which incidentally apparently descended into violence just after we left. Depressing how many people in my year seem to be so messed up, but then that's Cambridge for you...

Anyway, back to normal quite soon. Pity really.
