News of Edna

We've been up in Hull again this weekend, spending time with Edna. We were pleased to see her looking fine and in a sunny mood. The speech and language therapy seems to be taking effect and she is able to say a few words more clearly now, though conversation still tends to be one sided and she tires quickly. She is able to walk with assistance and has a good appetite. It's good to see her progressing, even if it's slow.

She is enjoying the company of visitors, especially those who drop in little and often, just to say Hello - something we wish we could do more easily.

Whilst in Hull, we went to have a look at the new St Stephens Centre, which opened a couple of days ago. According to the Hull Daily Mail, we were in the company of another 39,998 people - and yes, it felt as though we were too.

The new Paragon Interchange is very impressive and looks as though it was well worth waiting for. Quite a change from the old Collier Street Bus Station!
